1. Service description

HVAC QuickFix provides an online request and connection service for people seeking heating, cooling, maintenance, installation, or indoor-air-quality assistance. HVAC QuickFix does not itself inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain, install, sell, or warrant HVAC systems.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a provider is available, will contact you, or will accept the requested job.

2. Independent service providers

Any HVAC business or professional who responds to a request is an independent provider and is not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or representative of HVAC QuickFix. The provider is solely responsible for its:

• Licenses, registrations, permits, insurance, and qualifications;
• Inspections, diagnoses, estimates, recommendations, and work;
• Scheduling, pricing, payment terms, warranties, and customer service; and
• Compliance with laws, codes, manufacturer requirements, and safety standards.

You are responsible for evaluating a provider and reviewing the scope, price, credentials, and written terms before authorizing work or making payment.

3. Your service request

You agree to provide accurate, current information and to submit requests only for lawful purposes. You must not use the website to impersonate another person, send spam, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, or collect information about others.

You authorize HVAC QuickFix to use and share the information in your request as described in the Privacy Policy. You may decline any provider’s offer and are not required to purchase a service merely because you submitted a request.

4. Emergencies and safety

This website is not an emergency response service and should not be used when immediate danger exists. If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, see smoke or fire, or believe anyone is in danger, leave the area when appropriate and contact 911, the fire department, or your utility’s emergency line.

Do not touch exposed electrical components, refrigerant lines, gas equipment, or damaged systems unless you are trained and authorized to do so.

5. Communications

When you provide contact information and consent, HVAC QuickFix and relevant independent providers may contact you about your request using the channels you supplied, subject to applicable law. Standard carrier charges may apply. You may ask not to receive further communications.

6. Disclaimers and limitation

The website and connection service are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, HVAC QuickFix disclaims warranties regarding website availability, uninterrupted operation, provider availability, response times, estimates, pricing, results, or provider performance.

To the extent permitted by law, HVAC QuickFix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts, omissions, work, advice, pricing, or disputes of an independent provider. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply in full.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.
